A Well Played Hand To Win A Mini Step 1

Sometimes I even impress myself with my uncanny poker playing skills and abilities...

This was the final hand of a mini-step 1:

Just look at the discipline here... I check it the whole way... We go check-check on the turn and even when I boat up on the river, I have the patience to check it AGAIN. I just know that he's going to bet at it with NOTHING and I know that I can win the tournament if he does.

He does, and I do.

Is it possible to get an errection from reading hand histories?

Yes.

Good play, not great but good. It was obvious the guy was going to bet it. No brainer for you to check it down.

To say it was obvious is a bit of a mis-statement... he checked the turn. Why was it obvious he would bet the river?
